The cafe is especially renowned for its fluffy soufflé pancakes, particularly the mango variant, which many find delightful and richly flavored. Aesthetic cafe nestled away from the busy streets of Shinjuku. The mango soufflé pancakes are fluffy, airy and topped with a whipped cream, mango syrup, mango sorbet, and sliced mango. It’s absolutely delightful and I’ve been back twice for the same order. Price: The mango soufflé pancakes & Bambi coffee came out to a total of ¥2,519, which is a bit on the higher end. Service: You first sit at a table and then have to go to the counter to order, which feels slightly impersonal and causes a bit of chaos in such a small environment. Wait: I haven’t experienced any wait times, but have also gone here on evenings after dinner. Would suggest that time frame if you’d like to avoid a line.
Always a full house — and that says it all! This cozy spot is packed with people enjoying coffee and their famous pancakes. Despite being somewhat hidden, the constant flow of visitors proves its popularity. The ambience is perfect for a relaxed chat after dinner. And the pancakes? Absolutely worth the visit! Don’t miss out if you’re in the area.
The place is small but the aesthetic is great. Many foreigners are also visiting here. We ordered the following: 1. Bambi Bingsu- it includes 3 toppings and milk with the black sesame ice cream. It tastes great. 2. Bambi Coffee- nothing special
Bam Bi Coffee was an absolute discovery! I couldn’t leave Tokyo without trying the infamous fluffy pancakes, and theirs did not disappoint. I had the mango pancakes, and they were simply divine: fluffy, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The café is quite small, but incredibly aesthetic: every detail feels carefully curated, from the decor to the plating. The service was impeccable, warm and attentive without being overbearing. I also had a perfect cappuccino, smooth and rich, just the way it should be. You might wait a little bit before going in, but it's absolutely worth it!!
Super aesthetically pleasing cafe! The Bambi coffee is a nice balance between sweet and bitter, but the lotus pancakes are way sweet.. I couldn’t finish it :/ and they take around 15 minutes to get after you order them .-. The music is ok and no one was talking super loud:) I went around 20:00 and there was no line!
Most delicious meal on our Japan trip! Extremely delicious and a great photo spot if you like to take pictures of your food. The drinks were particularly excellent. We weren't expecting to be blown away by the drinks as we were coming for the pancakes primarily, and was pleasantly surprised! We had a chocolate cafe latte and a cookie cafe latte, and both were a 10/10. Would highly recommend and would visit again.
Doesn't live upto the hype on tik tok or Instagram! Prepare to queue for at least 10-15mins in the scorching heat, only 20 seats. Very limited selection of food (only 2 different flavours of pancakes and 2 desserts). On the other hand, the pancakes are fluffy and delicious and will fill you up. So we didn't try the dessert but it looked fantastic. Good to try it once when it's not busy and you don't have to wait.
